GOTCP complies with EU regulations on privacy (GDPR) in accordance with Norwegian law. As a user, you have the right to complain to the Data Inspectorate if you believe that these rules are being violated. As a user, you have the right to know what information has been collected, what it will be used for and who will use it. Your information can be deleted if you as a customer want to remove information stored about you. You have the right to access any information stored about you, and may at any time demand that this information be deleted or corrected. The daily responsibility for the processing of personal data lies with GOTCP.
We collect information about the use of the website to improve usability, determine what content users perceive as information, and for marketing purposes to provide relevant information to users based on their interests. Examples of what we measure are how much time people spend on the various pages, which websites they came from, whether they enter the page with a mobile phone or a computer and which pages they have been on. This information is treated as a block and we can not trace it back to a single user.
We use the analysis tool Google Analytics. Analytics measures activity and actions by placing text files on your computer. These are stored for a maximum of 560 days. Information from Analytics is not disclosed to other players.
Cookies are text files that are placed on your computer or phone when you load the website. None of our cookies can identify you as a person, but some of them may place you in a target group for advertising, based on previous use. These cookies are used on conventor.no and subpages: Google Analytics places a cookie on your page that shows that you have visited the site. This is used for analysis purposes and will be deleted after a maximum of 560 days. Personal information provided to Google is anonymised and individual users can not be identified.
