Mr. Erik Dugstad is Senior Vice President in Vårgrønn, a Norwegian based offshore wind and renewable energy company formed as a joint venture between international energy major Eni and Norwegian serial entrepreneur HitecVision. He has more than 20 years in energy industries, including a wide set of roles. In DNV Energy he was Area Manager Nordics & Baltics as well as global Service Directors Energy Markets, and he co-authored the DNV Energy Transition Outlook report. Previous to this he was Deputy Director General in Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, and he chaired the IEA Standing Committee on the Oil Market and was on the governing board of International Energy Forum. In Equinor he worked as Project Manager offshore wind and renewables, and before this as Senior Economist in Econ Analysis. He started his career as project manager for a cooperation between Norwegian Friends of the Earth and national labour union LO to support the green transition.
