Head of Environmental Initiatives

Eivind Fliflet is Head of Environmental Initiatives in the Corporate Governance Department of Norges Bank Investment Management. He leads the fund’s ownership activities on environmental topics, including topics such as climate change and biodiversity, and engages with companies in close collaboration with portfolio managers. Prior to joining NBIM, Eivind worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, and with strategy and sustainability for the waste management firm Norsk Gjenvinning in Oslo. Eivind holds a double Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from HEC Paris and in Financial Economics from NHH – Norwegian School of Economics.
