Arvid Moss has been responsible for the Hydro Energy business area since 2010. He has been member of the Corporate Management Board since August 2008. Moss came to Hydro in 1991 and has held several senior management positions in the company's aluminium business area, among them as President of Automotive Structures in 1996-2001 and President of Metal Products in 2004-2006. Over the years, he has also been responsible for strategy and business development in the aluminium area as well as on the corporate level. He was project leader for the process that resulted in the oil and gas merger agreement with Statoil (today Equinor) in December 2006. In June 2017, Moss was elected chairman/president of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO – Næringslivets Hovedorganisasjon).He resigned as President of NHO in june 2021. In 1989-1990, Moss was State Secretary and Chief of Staff in the Norwegian Prime Minister's office.
